Turmeric And Ginger Tea
Turmeric and ginger are both great for treating arthritis because they have anti-inflammatory properties. Turmeric has been receiving a lot of positive attention lately because its active ingredient, curcumin is a powerful antioxidant. It can also lower enzymes in the body that trigger inflammation.

In order to make a turmeric and ginger tea, you will need:
  1. two cups of water,
  2. a 1/2 teaspoon of ginger,
  3. 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric,
  4. and honey to taste.
  5. Boil the two cups of water and then
  6. add the ginger and turmeric.
  7. Reduce to a simmer and allow the tea to simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
  8. Strain the tea and then
  9. add the honey.

Olive oil is a heart-healthy oil that makes a great substitution for butter. It also has a compound called oleocanthal, which helps reduce inflammation. In fact, some studies suggest that oleocanthal works similarly to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
