Africa for long time has been passived as a weak continent in the whole world. Most of African's countries have some of the world poorest economies. Underdeveloped infrastructure and weak systems are among the reason Africa is considered poor continent. But things are changing.

The current pandemic was initially predicted to serverly afect the continent. But it is turning out that the continent is favoured. Their are few casualties in africa as opposed to other continents something that has raised questions all over. Their are more deaths registered in many countries outside Africa that within the continent.

That show that Africa is not where it was. It shows some development in African's health sector. The population in the continent has not highly affected by the pandemic.

The recent study by United Nation's (UN) "medium Scenario" predicted that African's population is increasing rapidly. From an estimated 140 million in 1990 and it has grown by a billion in 2010. They also added that the figure will increase with 2.5 billion in 2050 and by 4 billion in 2100.

According to the projection, Africa population will by mid century rise more than China and India combined. UN predicts that the population will account for more than a third of world's population. African economy will determine world's.

Africas are now all over the world and they are continuing to spread even further. America has the highest black population in the world due to the historic slave trade. Some are even going there to secure employment. African diaspora is increasing to quickly.

Israel has tried paying thousands of Africa migrants to leave the country. Think of Latin America which is the main immigration rute for Africa hoping to reach America. Think of China specificly Guangzhou city where African population is estimated to be hundreds of thousands, the biggest in Asia.

Africa is a home of abundant and rich resource. Talk of human resource the high population is providing and will provide. Talk about underutilized resources in the continent. With Africa developing at a high rate. The resources will one day be utilized and Africa developed.

Africa mortality rate has greatly reduced. Though many are encouraged to do family planing, Africa is still fertile. The population will continue to grow more and more keeping in mind it's main people comprises of youth. Even if They impress family planing, the youthful population will still increase They population rapidly.

They will be every where.

The continent is a big market for foreigners. Something that has increased good relationship among Africa and other continents. Africa has also developed trading partners within the countries. Trade block like EAC that aims at easing trade among east African nations.

African Continental Free Trade Area (AFCFTA) also aims at improving trade within African nations among other trade block. Without forgetting AU which aims at improving lifestyle, security and unit among Africans. Soon Africa will be developed and regain it's lost glory.

Africa lacks leadership and this has been our death bed for a long time and there is no likelihood that we can get out of this quagmire any time soon.

With these crop of leaders at the helm, misplaced priorities, endemic corruption, bad economic policies, economic mismanagement and human rights abuses Africa making even some headway is highly improbable something that will render your thoughts, nothing, but a perennial dream.
