Major General Bernard Waliaula, Commander of the Kenya Air Force, has been inducted into the International Honour Roll at Air University in Montgomery, one of the United States Air Force’s most prestigious recognitions for distinguished international graduates.
The International Honor Roll (IHR) recognizes outstanding international alumni of Air University who have risen to the highest levels of leadership in their respective air forces or national institutions. Induction is reserved for officers who attain positions equivalent to Commander of an Air Force, Chief of Staff, or similarly senior national leadership roles.
The honour is conferred during a formal ceremony held at Maxwell Air Force Base, where each inductee’s name and highest appointment are permanently inscribed in recognition of their distinguished service and leadership.
Established in 1985, the International Honor Roll has recognized hundreds of senior leaders from partner nations, strengthening professional ties and reinforcing global military cooperation through shared training and leadership development.
