for not verifying sources.

They just hold their breath for a few moments and come out looking credible just because they didn't jump on the "they got 'em" bandwagon. It kinda reminds me of an episode of Newsroom (there was one where all other networks were saying one thing but the Newsroom folks decided to actually verify the info and they ended up being right).

I watch MSNBC all the time. This is the channel that is pro-Democrats BUT it is truly balanced. For example if Obama messes up they do not hesitate to criticize him. When Obama had a hiccup in the second presidential debate - outright MSNBC (Chris Mathews et al.) blasted him squarely.

On the other hand, Fox (or to be more precise "Faux" = False) News (as is Rush Limbough) are so biased towards Republicans. Romney was so much relying on Faux news he actually thought he was winning on the election night.

You can not call Fox as being the counter channel to MSNBC because while Fox tows the Republican line implicitly, MSNBC (as is the case with all other progressives) will present a balanced views of Democrats policies.

CNN and other channels are trying to be neutral in their reporting BUT this, at times, tend to be boring.

Kwa sababu Fox wanatangaza uzushi, ushambenga, na ushabikiaji wa Republicans, watu wengi (mainly rednecks) south of MASON-DIXON line wanaipenda - there is your rating. This is a TABLOID TV not a serious journalistic News channel. Hata ukiangalia magazeti popote pale, yanayonunuliwa kwa wingi ni yale yanayoandika ushambenga na vituko vya mitaani na sio serious BROADSHEETS.

Kuhusu Obama GUN CONTROL BILL, nashangaa hili limekufurahisha. Unajua mara nyingi watu wanawashabikia wanasiasa bila kujua kuwa wanachagua against their own self interest:

Mfano:
1. Obama health care wengi wanaipinga lakini wakati huohuo wanasema sitaki serikali ije kati yangu na MEDICARE yangu.

2. Wanashabikia sera za republicans (mfano kuondoa GLASS-STEAGALL law kwa mabenki) ambazo ndio zilizo angusha uchumi 2007-2008.

Mkuu Natalia niache, usinichokoze, he, he, he, (LOL).
