We'll definitely be better off under CHADEMA because we've already seen dictatorship in its worst form under The Kikwete administration. For instance
1.The use of law enforcement organs as coercive apparatus not just to intimidate like the recent use of the army but the police and TISS were used to abduct Dr. Ulimboka and Sheik Fareed. The police murdered journalist Daudi Mwangosi in front of the camera.

2. Crackdown on the media ref Mwanahalisi newspaper ban for exposing people involved in the abduction and torture of Dr. Ulimboka

Exorbitant salaries to policy-makers. While the majority earn less than a dollar per day the salary of our members of parliament is Tshs. 10mil

We need the new political leadership that will overhaul the rotten system. This will be provided by CDM only!

Mkalimoto, CDM is not the only stakehoder that's unsatsfied the way the state apparati are operating. The cry has been widespread by activists, students of higher levels of education, human rights commettee to mention but few. This reveals one fact that all is not well with the respective apparati. To all intents and purposes the organs are operating in favour of the ruling party and its allies. They are using stick when dealing with CDM and a carrot when when dealing with CCM followers and fans.Take police for example, they use excessive force when encoutering CDM fans even when the latter are holding lawful demonstrations. We and the world have witnessed police using crabs to beat up women, pulling them out of the vehicles and caining them like hell. Do you expect any sensible person to blow a trumpet as a good gesture to how the police handles issues when it comes to CDM?

So these and many other make CDM be at loggerheads with the organs. CDM is concerned about all this brutality and that's why it has been spearheading the new constitutions so that such apparati like police force, TISS, Army and the likes have their tasks well stated in the new constitions and become answerable to neutral state organ say Legislature. There's no dictatorship there and CDM cannot lead the country by putting these forces at bay. It has to work with them in such trustful manner that is guided by constitutions and the bodies are supposed to neutral and non partsan than they are at the moment

The topic is good and would like to put my comments on. Any Tanzanian who wishes wellbeing for all Tanzanians knows the styles of all their leaders, CEOs, Directors, Police, TISS et al... They work for their own & bosses interests not for the nation.

I'm very confident that CHADEMA will work with these systems but in new modern way. On top of that I believe CHADEMA will follow and obey rules and regulations that exists and new for the benefit of nation at wide.

In general, not all regulations in Tanzania are bad or not fulfill our requirements, the problem is law enforcers and leaders!! IF YOU FOLLOW THE RULES AND REGULATIONS PEOPLE WILL SEE AND WILL APPRECIATE, the reverse is the case of which I don’t believe at with CDM!

Maandamano mengi hayakuwa haramu...tatizo ni sababu zilizokuwa zikitumiks kuyazuia ndio zilionekana kandamizi na onevu. CDM muda wote nimeona wakipambana kupinga uonevu wa aina zote, na kulalamikia vyombo vya dola kutumika kisiasa badala ya kufanya kazi kuhakikisha amani, haki na utulivu vinatawala.
