The Central Committee of Chama cha Demokrasia na Maendeleo (CHADEMA) meets for its ordinary session in Dar es Salaam today during which it will deliberate on the agenda for the party's general conference.

At its previous meeting on March 3 and 4, 2012, held in Usa River, Arumeru District, the central committee decided to hold the general council meeting on April 29. The main agenda at the council's meeting will include preparation of a timetable and directives for party's elections from ward and branch levels this year to the national level and its institutions next year.

The council's meeting will also hear a report on the country's political situation and "make important decisions on the direction of the party and that of the nation," a CHADEMA statement signed by Information and Publicity Secretary John Mnyika in the city on Thursday said.

The statement claimed that the situation in the country was deteriorating with conflicts in society, including land rows, doctors' claims and students and teachers' demands. It referred to the previous such session in which the party deliberated on the ‘rising inflation and other economic woes', accusing the government of indifference to them.

In the statement, the opposition party called on its members and Tanzanians to continue supporting the party in its resolve to ensure good leadership, appropriate policies, better strategies and better organization for sustained country's growth.

I wonder if they will ask Zitto Kabwe the plan to call Prime Minister to resign was his personal call or else?

If they will bring in Magamba with Fisadi's hands e.g Lowassa

If they can manage the Movement of loyal citizen's moving to Chadema and not disappoint them

Chadema leaders (our leaders) need to think harder. The job ahead is tougher than it was 5 years back. A lot of Tanzanians have much expectation from Chadema. The leaders need to be very careful with what they are doing both politically and socially. Any mistake however small from our top leaders will be used by CCM to destroy the credibility of the party to Tanzanians.
GOD BLESS CHADEMA.
