for those who follow british politics you'd know that britain never wanted to join europe in the first place..it was tony blair's (former prime minister) idea and willingness to join europe. Cameroun was very much against it when he was the opposition leader at that time and tony blair promised the british public would have a say on it and he did a U turn later on...so am not surprised cameroun and conservatives are withdrawin from europe because they're not benefitin much from it...if you look at greece, spain and now italy the way they're strugglin with their economies why should such a country like britain be involved in such a mess...i fully support mr cameroun from withdrawing from europe and france and germany should follow suit too..

Britain has no impact in the EU. her economy is falling day after day and if i remember well Brazil has passed her as a 6th largest economy

Its was there by name...never participated much to create an impact. I believe EU can still manage without Britons

Thousands across UK protest benefits changes

Thousands of people across the UK have taken part in demonstrations against changes to the benefits system which they describe as a "bedroom tax".

About 1,000 people demonstrated outside Downing Street, with a similar number marching past the Scottish parliament.

Work and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith has said the current system of benefits had to be reformed because it was "unfair".
