After the recent issues with Boeing planes it is only logical that Tanzania should ditch Boeing planes and find other alternatives in the market like Airbus.
Fleet commonality is a smart business move for airlines and since we have 2 Airbus planes already, I say our order for the second Boeing Dreamliner be the last transaction we ever carry out with Boeing and from now on we should buy Airbus planes only. We may even get an Airbus MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) Hub at JNIA since there is no major Airbus operator in East Africa (Kenya Airways and Ethiopian are exclusively Boeing operators).
There are plenty of good options from Airbus. For instance: The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is a direct competitor of Airbus's A330neo. For long haul flights ATCL should get this plane.

For short/medium haul we can use the A220s that we already have and maybe even the A320neos.
