Beirut, Lebanon (CNN) -- Lebanon prides itself on its image as a melting pot on the Mediterranean: an ancient bastion of civilization boasting a diverse tapestry of cultures and creeds.

But scratch the surface, and it becomes apparent that not everyone fits into the country's cosmopolitan self-image.

Many migrants and mixed-race Lebanese, particularly those of Asian and African origin, say they encounter racism on a regular basis.

Nepalese woman Priya Subeydi told CNN she plans to leave the country soon, as she does not want her nine-month-old son growing up feeling like a second-class citizen.

"Every day we face racism," she said. "I just want to let him to grow in my own country."

Same thing in Greece, Italy, Germany etc. What do you want to prove?

dunia nzima races zote hazitupendi.

Arabs by nature are racist and abhor black people. They use islam when they seek support of other ethnic groups to gain economic advantage.

Its good were havin many arabs here in europe from lebanon, iraq, iran, syria, libya and we are all playing in the same racism pot from europeans.they have to turn and be at least friendly with african.

kama ww mwenyewe haujipendi unataka upendwe na nani esp dada zetu jamani u kill our culture

If you want an Arab to behave a certain way; you have to stand up to them, use force, or outmaneuver them. Verbal persuasion, is, for the most part, useless. Most Arabs are like children; and the lowest common denominator governs their behavior, many times, in any given situation.

Wee vipi? Kwani nani kawakataza, eboo! Nasikia Wanugu mshaanza kuitana "Sisiemu" na "Fataki"...kudaadeki zenu!
