Bwana mkubwa naomba kuuliza swali, natumia online terminal /shel kurun linux command sasa nashangaa sometimes narun command the right way ila sipati majibu, mfano

nina directories tatu nimezitengeneza(i am the root user) n
mkdir ya1
mkdir ya2
mkdir ya3
nataka niingie diectory ya pili
cd ya2
nacreate txt files labda tatu ambazo hazina kitu
touch maembe.txt
touch papai.txt
touch ndizi.txt
sasa hapa perhaps nataka maembe.txt awe copied to directory ya3
cp maembe.txt /ya3
alafu touch papai.txt nataka niimove to directory ya1
mv papai.txt /ya1

which means ya1 itakuwa na papai.txt, ya2 itabak na maembe.txt na ndizi.txt na ya3 itakuwa na copy ya maembe.txt si nilicopy.

kinachotokea sasa, copy command na mv command hazirudish error yeyote ila nikienda kwenye respective directory sizikuti hizo files mfano hii ya kumove inaliondoa kabisa file pale sasa sielew yanaenda wapi , nakosea sehemu ya kurun hizo command ? au inakuaje... am i doing the right thing at the right pace or the other way round ?
