As a practicing Mormon, Mitt Romney can forget about being elected President of the United States. There's no way Americans will put a Mormon in the White House. That's one big elephant in the room as far as Romney's 2012 presidential aspirations. There may be more; just wait till things start getting ugly during next year's campaigns

Hunt who? This is the guy who was Obama's ambassador to China, right? Naaah...he has no chance in hell against Obama. First of all, how can he run against his former boss? That makes no sense to me. This guy won't even make it to the South Carolina primary. Mark my words.
Since when has Politico been GOP leaning? This is news to me. Seriously. Do you know Rev. Al Sharpton? Do you think he is an Obama surrogate? Do you know that at least for the last month he's been hosting a tv show on MSNBC? Do you know that he also has a radio show? Well, fyi, I listen to his radio show and watch his tv show daily. And there is no day that goes without him bashing Romney. Why do you think that is the case? Why isn't he going after Tim Pawlenty or Newt Gingrich? Why is that so? The answer is obvious. Romney is the frontrunner and with the economy doing so badly, the unemployment rate above 9 percent, and with his governing experience and his business background, he is Obama's worst nightmare come 2012.
Right now we can talk all we want about what's going to happen and what's not going to happen. The truth of the matter is Nov. 6, 2012 is still far out. And as you know 16 months in American politics is more than a lifetime. But we'll see if your presumptuous prediction holds up.
As if the Democraps never pull out all the stops to defeat Republican presidents. And I doubt bin Laden would even be a factor. It's the economy stupid!

You said it yourself. "half-white, half-black". At any rate, its not as simple as you'd have it. The political landscape during Obama's first 2 years isn't comparable to when Bush was President, and is certainly not the same now. But again, I believe Obama still has plenty of time to turn things around to his advantage before 2012.
When Cornel West recently spoke to The Huffington Post about media coverage of African American issues, the Princeton professor argued that PresidentObama is avoiding journalists who've offered tough critiques of his administration, such as PBS host Tavis Smiley. "Obama won't touch him with a 10-foot pole," West said.
On Wednesday, Smiley backed up West's viewpoint during a C-SPAN sit-down with him to discuss their 16-city poverty tour.
"Prior to his being elected, he came on my radio programs and TV programs with regularity," Smiley said. "Once he got elected and my critique of him - about holding him accountable to various things didn't sit so well with him or the people around him - he has not, at this point, come on my TV or radio programs one time since he's been in this WhiteHouse."
Smiley said that Obama, whom he's known for years, "is the first president in my professional career that hasn't invited me to the White House."

OK, Mzee Nyani, since you started this whole darn thing, you should somehow, someway be in the know about such downright basic stuff as which party has the majority in the Senate, House, Congress and whatnot. Would you mind therefore telling us who's in charge of what as far as the US Congress, US Senate, US House of Representatives etc? Please feel free to come up with the necessary stats wherever you deem necessary. Thanks!
