Andy Robertson is confident Kieran Tierney will make the right choice over his future as Arsenal ramp up their bid to sign the Celtic star.

Scotland skipper Robertson was quizzed on Tierney's future after returning to Scotland to play in Liverpool's pre-season friendly defeat to Napoli on Sunday.

And the 25-year-old had plenty to say on his international colleague who is at the centre of one of the summer's longest-running transfer sagas.

Arsenal have had two bids for Tierney rejected by Celtic who want £25million for the left-back but are locked in talks over a third.

Whatever happens in the next week-and-a-half, Robertson is confident Celtic diehard Tierney will make the right decision over his future.

"I’ve played with KT for Scotland and he’s played right back and centre back. I’ve watched him and he’s a very good footballer,"Liverpool star Robertson told Sky Sports.
