Giden I meant when blind scanning. So I can't knw the tp only that it's stops at 97% d highest at arnd 3800tp while others r 60-80%.Try editing the transponder either addition or subtraction

You are almost there. All the transponders on NSS12 use dielectric (I recommend 2 to improve signal, I discovered this with 62E and 64E), insert right to the end and skew LNB to 3 o'clock and blindscan.Thank you QIMEU. I tried with 5150 and picked something on NSS 12. I ran a blind scan and only got 4 Transponders. I got channels on 3 of the tps; 3636/H&V/2624 hosting ONRTV-TCHAD & 3805/V/20000 hosting BFBS package. 4th tp was 4151/V/9245 but showed no readable signal. The BFBS tp showed no readable signal either when I performed the 1st scan and then gave a readable signal when i inserted a teflon dielectric. It was in fact after inserting the dielectric that I was able to pick up the M*N tp. I did a lot of twitching (adjusting the position of the scalar ring back and foward, skewing the LNB) to improve the signal on the tp but in vain. Been in the sun since mid-day and I've learnt a lot today but I feel it's not enough. What can I do to improve the signal on that tp?
Thanks Tolgos for the input. Interestingly, I couldn't pick anything on IS-20 but was fortunate that I managed something on NSS12. There's a post on the previous page where you recommend using two Teflon dielectrics on Intelsat 906 (64.2E) for better signal quality. Would this work for NSS12? And how far inside the LNBF should the dielectric be inserted?
I've just tried 5750 with a Eurostar ESCD-600. It works but the signal seems cracky
I tried it today by inputting 5150 & managed to get it but stable signal @14% in western Kenya.Bw. Qimeu. There's nothing wrong with those settings on his decoder. With that any LNB will work well even single solution eg ES21 and there will no deductions. I think Edson should try NSS12 57E.
What's your dish size? Offset or prime focus?I tried it today by inputting 5150 & managed to get it but stable signal @14% in western Kenya.
Will give it another go when I get a second Teflon. My LNB has two dielectric slots that are perpendicular to each other. Using teflons, will have insert one in each slot or both in one slot? You are almost there. In Nairobi there are lots of them 777.
Insert the Teflon both in one slot and use some tape to hold them together. See the image below for one telflon plate. Will give it another go when I get a second Teflon. 2.4 m prime focus. What's your dish size? Offset or prime focus?
impressive !! , how has the signal quality changed now and before ?
No this wasn't me, was googling whilst waitin for outside temperature to come down. You can see the date is 2009!!!impressive !! , how has the signal quality changed now and before ?

@ all, my 180p.f. dish is locked on Eutelsat 7b [European Beam] and hitting stable green on several Digiturk frequencies after fine tunning & tweaking the LNB.
Is Eutelsat 9b @9°e on the Left Hand Side or Right Hand Side of Eutelsat 7b [European Beam], which direction should i skew while behind the dish i.e facing the same direction with the dish?
I hit green some degrees above Eutelsat 7b[European Beam] trajectory but on blind-scan Eutelsat 9b didn't come up. Lifting the dish further, i hit green on Eutelsat 16a ...
Whats your location Ras? I fear 9b isn't receivable in Kenya with a 6ft. The beam shares similar footprint/mapping with 62E. I don't completely rule out, but our bro's in the North East, North Rift, and Kisumu should try out and report. Tolgos attempted and he is in Kericho if am not wrong but never hit green. Which Transponders did you hit green?
