After several hours of hunting, i managed to nab Is20 Ku band, but when changing the lnb to C band nothing pops up, My doughty though I am confused with C band lnb type settings in the decoder because it scans tps which are out of range from what see in the Lyngsat. Can someone help?

KTN and Family are temporarily off on 70e but as for Amos 5, it disappeared without trace. However, the channels (continental package) went to ABS 3a but no longer FTA.

Select the Sattelite with C eg Intelsat7/10 C or Insat C.... (If you are using Strong 4922, Press Menu, select Installation (Pswrd 0000) select "Dish Setting and chose the satellite) LNB for C-Band Using 5150 not universal.

Is there any hope of PowerVu software for SRT 4900?
Just acquired one used but in good condition.
Any new SW for SRT 4900?
Can PV work on this model?

I personally don't think so. 4922 itself is almost becoming obsolete. Get 4950h

[quote uid=267330 name="bostephen" post=15536289]Am located in Kampala - Namugongo and actually I get all the active tp's on the sat through blind scan plus more than what I even see on lyngsat, altogether about 18 tp's but no single channel comes.

NB:
My reciever is the type that shows signal even when no Lnb is connected. Iam only able to see quality for me to guage how much signal I have.
Can you post the transponder and symbol rate being received please. Is your receiver Mpeg4?, Try skewing and see if anything pops. Inform the house whether you have 10804H30000.

My reciever is full HD, and as I said earlier, I get all the active tp's on the sat through blind scan plus even more than what I even see listed on lyngsat. l have tried all angles of skew both all positive & negative values, azimuth possibilities, plus ofcourse elevation...

He is very much on 16E 10977H24112 is on the satellite, kindly confirm from Lyngsat. He may have to try editing the Tps manually or his decoder maybe the culprit.
