Three, these BUDS are suited for those who are landlords themselves and have space in their compounds. Otherwise if utilized properly, they can give a lot.

I am looking for 3m dish to hunt for Asiasat Goodies. 1.8m is now too small and I need to conquer new frontiers. I can see Freddygaz doing the same.

nilisoma from page one what I've managed ni IS20 aps*r7, 7west, nss7 & much more thanks guys...union of genius nawahitaji.

Never try a prime focus before, to day I tried to hunt an IS 20 with 6ft pf ended up with nothing, confused no elevation angles behind the dish, the C band lnb has numbers on its side don't know which to put?
Help plz my big question is the elevation angles described on dishpointer for an offset dish can they be used on p.focus dish too and use my inclinometer?

Hi all, Am confused why I don't get channels from Eutelsat 16A. My first trial was on the 180cm pf on SES 5. Second is on a 90cm on Astra @ 28.2°E. In both cases, am trying to Make Astra 28. 2°E the second lnb on either dish. The results are the same & I get as many as 9 tp's but no channels. What would be causing the tp's to appear while the channel s don't?

What could be the price of a new 6ft pf...and is it supplied with an lnb.anybody in the know pliz????

Hello McMedards,
The 1st thing you need to do is eliminate those variables one by one. The easiest is the elevation. You can do this by making an inclinometer which you attach to the dish. Check out www.satsig.net for details on that.
Once the elevation is set, next set the lnb skew. Make sure the "0" is set to horizontal. The numbers on the side of the lnb are to set the depth. You could start with 38 just touching the topside rim of the lnb holder. ( you can adjust later to get maximum signal.)
Next is to make sure your dish is perfectly level. A spirit level from the local supermarket should come in handy here.
Now all that is left is to hook up the lnb to either a sat finder or your decoder/TV and play around with the azimuth (left/right movement) till you get a signal. The secret here is to keep the adjustments small, one centimeter or less at a time.
I usually use the NHK frequency to hunt for IS 20 though lm sure the others will work too.
Happy hunting.
