State owned television channel of Pakistan, Pakistan Television (PTV) is all set to launch another sports channel. The second sports channel of PTV will be named as PTV Sports 2. According to the sources of PTV, the new sports channel will be possibly launch this month in January. The main reason behind this initiative is to give the full coverage of all the sports events around the world. PTV Sports was launched in 2012 and in the last 3 years, it has proved itself the number one sports channel of Pakistan by covering all the major events of sports. “PTV Sports has legal rights to air several sports tournaments and sometimes it happens that we are airing a cricket match and meanwhile an important tennis or football match has to suffer because of it. So, the management has decided to launch another sports channel so that we can cover all the sports events happening in the world," he added.

According to the sources of Pakistan Television, the channel has grown its viewership just after the arrival of its new MD, Muhammad Malick. He is working very hard for the betterment of Pakistan Television and to bring back those days when Pakistan Television was the first and the only choice of viewers in Pakistan. In the last few months, PTV has break all the sales targets and beats its competitors including Geo Sports and Ten Sports.
Recently, PTV has successfully acquired both the cable/satellite & terrestrial rights of ICC until 2019, which is very big achievement.

To be launches today SONY ESPN & SONY ESPN HD on countdown on S*ny k*x IS-20e. 05:23:00 TO GO.

MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) is all set to launch its two sports channels namely Sony ESPN and Sony ESPN HD in collaboration with ESPN on 17 January. The Sony ESPN channel will replace Sony Kix and hence will be available on all the platforms that the latter was. Sony ESPN HD will launch by marking its presence on all direct to home (DTH) platforms and gradually will roll out on cable TV too.
With this, SPN has extended its sports cluster to four channels namely Sony ESPN, Sony ESPN HD, Sony Six and Sony Six HD.
What’s more, Sony and ESPN will also launch more co-branded channels in the near future. “At least two more channels are there in the pipeline and if the content demands more, we might launch more. But at this stage, we have two channels launching on 17 January and two more in the near future,” reveals ESPN India and South Asia vice president and head Ramesh Kumar.

I think they should adjust their sat meter or dish to @3w not @3e. According to Lyngsat Continental package is on Eutelsat 3B @3e but not ABS 3A @3w.
Eutelsat 3B at 3.1°E - LyngSat
ABS 3A at 3.0°W - LyngSat

Like I said now lyngsat have adjusted their gadget properly, now continental package is on ABS 3A @3W but not on Eutelsat 3B @ 3E like they had said.
