You can combine Amos 5 and SES 5 maybe...and nilesat 102/ Eutelsat 8 but not many other sats.... and if you like documentaries, get 7E

There is already another software update (SRT4930_All_176p_20151005) for SRT 4930 on Crosat even though this stb is already very far ahead of 4950 and Openbox V8 in PV matters. I think this old receiver (4930) is only second to 4922 in PV and many other facilities so far.
I am looking for one to buy even if it is used (second hand). When I get SRT 4930, I will immediately donate my Openbox V8 to any forum member who wants it free. I am even willing to pay KShs. 500/= as an incentive (bribe) to whoever will take the Openbox V8 from my hands.

Excellent! I am happy to hear you got it all the way. Way to go bro. Now start the fabrication of the multi-lnb arm. Chech what FTA-Nash had posted here sometime back. He was able to combine 5e, 7e, 7w and 17e on it. Offsets are easy to fix on the wall, unlike their pf counterparts. I find it easier to manipulate the lnb(s) on an offset than on a pf.

1.3m is 130cmx120cm, 1.65m (MuzoSat) is 165cmx150cm. SubbiSat is 240cm all round. I had a feel of it when I paid Subbi a visit in his dish farm recently. Good thing is it is transported in two pieces. He has some in stock.

I have Openbox s9 and the only problem I have is the aging remote control. Openbox is very robust and not prone to over-heating

Hi house. What on earth would an 'insufficient TP memory' message mean when attempting a blind scan? Been receiving this in the last few days when using a 4-way Eurostar disecq switch, and then not a single TP is reeled in. Changed to an 8-way switch imagining more ports would solve the problem to no avail. Surprisingly, an auto scan works well with both switches, but I got a feeling I might be missing out on some TPs that blind scanning would throw up. The stb is STR 4922, fed from 38 E, 17E and 4.8E.

Just delete some unused sats from the baby which will delete their transponders and create some space. Or do a factory reset and scan again. NB Its a software issue not a hardware issue.
