I want to utilise my 180pf to get digturk...which good tp to down them n which channels will i enjoy..will apreciate any help

Check: Digiturk on Eutelsat 7A at 7.0°E - LyngSat
With suitable equipment, you should be able to get ‘all' channels excluding the HD ones. Also your equipments (e.g. dish size, LNB, decoder) will depends on your location. Subject covered in great detail in previous posts.

........... Infact I nail both Nss 12@57e (for K-24) and Yamal @54.9e having employed one lnb.....

I receive (Yahsat 52.5E) and NSS12 (57E) on one 90Cm Eurostar using two Inverto LNBs on top of each other: the main one pointed to Yahsat; the one for NSS12 is directly on top of the one for Yahsat. Difference between the two Sats is 4.5 degrees. K24 on NSS12 hits quality of 80% while Dubai-One HD on Yahsat achieves 65%. Yamal 54.9E lies in between.
Now that yamal is becoming ‘interesting', I will experiment if can receive the three sats with two LNBs on one 90Cm. Going back to the roof to tweak my setup again …… after a long break ……. !

Monster Dish #2 is up and running.am gladly enjoying the natgeo, natgeo wild, history channel,discoveries.....etc without scratches. Thanks to Kungu,Dongra & FTA Nash for the measurements.cheers guys

Welcome Sir. Your ground mount must have saved you lots of trouble of lifting the dish. Surrounding buildings act as natural 'wind break' too. If you are getting History channel then the whole 'party' is on! Go on to add extra LNBs to minimize 'acreage' on your dish farm. Cheers.

As some comedians is wont to say, hii ASAS itatuua (this ASAS will be the end of us). Just yesterday I spent a whole afternoon working on my 180cm pf to maximize signal on 7A!. Then I come here and find out there is some more sweeter goodies on 50 something degrees! How I wish I had got this information yesterday. That means a trip back to the roof. My neighbors will think I have gone bonkers!

I used to care / fear "what will my neighbours say?" ..... until one day I said enough is enough. Let them 'brand" / "label" me anything! I even offered to share a cable or two from my quad LNBs with them ... if they would buy decoder! To date, no one has 'saved' enough to buy the SRT4922 or similar! Its all about interest ... how chronic your ASAS is ... and less to do with cash! And the cure is still many years away from being found!

Later this year, after signing a deal with my landlord, I hope to hire a crane to lift a 9 to 10Ft offset dish six floors up our apartment block to replace my 130Cm for *Digiturk* and other goodies on the multi-LNB setup. This may be a tourist attraction of sorts to my neighbours still 'fundraising' for a decoder!

Thanks FTA-Nash for the encouragement. This forum is like an ASAS anonymous. I have observed my neighbors and I can only imagine what has been going thru their minds to see me turning my BUD all over the roof. I should also share the signal with them. Luckily I have company of my son who is fast catching this ASAS. The other day we passed by Msa rd and he saw those gigantic BUDs for Z*K* and he was like, "Daddy can we go and see if they can give us one of those? They have so many!" :smile-big:

thanks msondaa, am now watching the redlight tv, XXX!

LoL!
Seems like stuff formerly a reserve of fringe reception on 28 East neigbourhood are coming 'Direct-to-Home' to a dish near you!
Check: http://www.lyngsat.com/Eutelsat-28A.html (11390V27500, 11426V27500) for the cousins of Redlight-1, Redlight-2, Playboy, a channel they call "extreme filth" etc. ……! Parental Advisory and strong passwords recommended.

About 4-5 years ago, there used to be a channel on 7 East (W3A satellite) called 'PSAT' which could only be opened by the owner's decoder. They even had a secret office in Kenya. You would write email to them, send money plus subscription, they deliver decoder to you "anonymous", then you would enjoy XXX stuff 24/7 !

These being the ‘last days', I will watch and pray ….. lest I fall into temptation .........

thanks Nash, you are right .the monster dish is so big and heavy, the wind tends to move it at times hence reduced signals.i had to tie it down temporarily.also 4ft out of 10ft of the mounting post had to go under ground..hoping to buy some extra invertos for more fringe sats on this monster...........cheers
