Hi pals, with MBC not currently available, please assist with steps to nab Amos 5, what can i get with a 90 cm? location Nairobi.

If your receiver is Mpeg 4 and you are able to get ses5 ZuKu channels then put 11007 V 30000 starting at ZuKu position adjust the dish upward slowly you can come will good results.

Hey good people and fta addicts.
i a cured an inverto black dual LNBF but am very disappointed by the performance as i tried it on 7E and was outperformed by Fuji Gold single LNBF.
Is there a trick i am not getting or what?
This would be a great distress to me having spent over 3k.
Help please!!!:hail:

Hi Charles, Thanks for the info, will try that, just to clarify, I believe from 8 W i will move the dish upwards(elevation) without changing the azimuth?

Just a little bit 2cm right handside standing back of your dish if it is possible to strengthen the signal, if not you can leave as its and deal with elevation

Fta Nash is this for real....

I am in need of c - band LNB, I have been using Eurostar which seems to have mulfuctioned. I have been trying to lock to citizen TV at 62e but it can give any signal, I tried looking for it in some Electronics shops in Narok the stock only ku band Lnbf and they got no idea the difference between c band and ku band

But i thought that CITIZEN is no longer 'ON' on this Sat!!? Why don't you look for those Single solution C BAND LNB.

For citizen tv on 62e, you can use supermax or eurostar ES 51.

I think he said he has a 150cm dish. You might be lacking essential gain on your current dish size.

countdown imeisha, what has happened on the mbc sd frequency, keep me updated please, am away from my setup

You are right Job....the MBC transponder is on the east beam and has a high FEC ratio of 5/6 making it unattainable with a 130cm....to get through the rain and the cloud fade you need a 240cm offset....bt with the 150cm the signal will disapear when the weather turns for the worse.....

Citizen on Amos 5 comes and goes.... like its absent presently...
