African Satellite World and Sat Gear

African Satellite World and Sat Gear

Hello house, can anyone suggest the most sensitive receiver for tracking satellites. Some brands 'think too much' before turning green.

AZAM TV transmits over the EUTELSAT 7A Satellite, located at 7 degrees East. Although there were initially many free to air channels, that was only during the test period. All of the AZAM channels are now encrypted, and you need their viewing card and receiver, which can be purchased in Dar Es Salaam, except one single channel, which is an advertising, teaser channel, which transmits on 1253/H/30000 frequency. You CAN get a number of quite good Zambian channels for free on that same satellite however.

Asante mkuu nimekupata, sasa hizo zambia channel nazipataje?

Are you sure you are locked on to the 7E satellite? Once you are there, the Zambia Channels are strong, on a frequency of 12520/H/ 27500, there are two on that transponder, Africa Unite and Muvi TV, in Nairobi I am getting them on a 90cm dish with a Signal strength of 80% and a quality of 90%/. Enter the frequency above, then adjust your dish until you get a good green quality signal, then re-scan the satellite and you will get a lot more channels, including the Mauritius channels, Rodrigues 1 and Rodriques 2. Good luck

Naomba unitumie picha kwenye pm thanks

Why cant you nab it bro, which satellite meter do you have or how are you nabbing it.

i took my tv n str 4922 outside n did it as i watched the quality which is best meter ...

Greetings Psolo. 90cm for a start could be ok. But as you grow older in fta, the desire for more and stable channels will sprout up. At that point you will crave for a 6ft prime focus dish which is well adapted for both c and ku band reception. For srt 4922 HD, you are at home. For me, it is reasonably the best sat receiver for fta enthusiasts currently available. Enjoy your weekend.

QIMEU:Thanks for the advice.I will go for the 6ft,str 4922 and wl hope to nab the best to me.God graciously bless you.Blessed wkd too

All about Satellite tv, both FTA free to air and paytv available in Kenya and Africa in general.

Sat gear in use plus more....

kungu1-Is str 4922 better than str 4930 and str 4950? Any type of combined ku and c band lnb in Nairobi?

Eurostar ES10 seem to have a sensitive tuner since it receives weak signals very well

After doing a number of zuku installations i have seen that when the dish is on a high area like on top of a storey the quality on reception improve than on a lower ground when combining ses5 and eutelsat 7a
