I do think freesat is just as sensitive as 4955. What strong did to 4955 after complains on sensitivity issues with 4950 was to bloat the signal graduation scale such that what would read 61% on a 4950 would now read about 86% on 4955 (so people could think it's more sensitive). But still if a channel is cracking on a freesat it would still crack on a 4955 despite 4955 showing about 20% higher signal level.

Freesat tuner is better, it holds signal better. 4922 is the last amongst our favorites. A channel can crack on 4955 but stabilize or be watcheable on V7.

I'm glad with my 2 6ft dishes that gives me 68.5 and 76.5 to the fullest. Unless an 8ft dish give me asiasat7 I'm still satisfied with those.

But avoid freesat v8 golden if picture quality is your thing. It has poor quality. V8 super and v7 lines have better picture quality.

The last time I locked it I ended up with worthless channels, didn't get those xon cbb earth and other prem channels with a 6ft plus 777 gulf star.
But I think tomorrow I'll give it a try with Titanium c1 pll and see if it has the audacity in measat as it has in 76.5.

Btw you can have 68 primary and 76E parasite on 8ft with everything stable, DHD, Disny,DVa,AexN. below you add 64 for AFN and Tz channels. left of 68 add 70b, between 68 and 76 add 75 C/Ku.

RT Doc left 57e ku. The only channel that made people seek ku side of the sat. With the demise of s24 now there's no more reason to seek the sat.

With my six ft Gulf star dish +both Gulf star 777 lnb and Titanium C1 Pll i got Historia 1 at 69%, the BPOs channels, and other b class channels.
But he even get H2 and DDC earth!
