I wonder why Africa has to import dishes while we can produce steel and paint. The science of curving a piece of metal to a specific shape how difficult is it that Africans cannot master it and mass produce? Maybe it's just that there is no ready market to justify investment.
Invacom ku lnb.but very surprise to hear that if the little hole down covered can increase the signal level thank for that advice,I will fix that and give u the feed backA true honour to have you here. Which Lnb is the Ku band ?
Leaving the hole open does not only reduce the surface area of the dish and thus the collected signal, but also allows ground noise to get into the lnb through the open hole further decreasing signal quality.Invacom ku lnb.but very surprise to hear that if the little hole down covered can increase the signal level thank for that advice,I will fix that and give u the feed back
Reminds me of an installer telling me that C band is obsolete just like AM Radio. When I asked him about FTA. Kumbe he didn't want to divulge his secrets of trade.(hayo madish ya zamani)
I have also used Pauxis PX 2000 and it is performing wonders. In a number of locations i'm also able to nab measat using a 6ft/V7/PX2000.3740 at 94% . Pauxis things

What decoder and dish size are you using?

Yeah but as primaryWell done my friend that is the bar so high!
Are you harvesting through your combine harvester!?
🙂🙂...yes,the sequence was stock on lnbs, then splurge on BUD.My issue was that the es-21 gets Ayefen comfortably but not 68.5e,yet i assumed 68.5e was one of the stronger (and therefore easily gettable) satellites. My plan is that the several excellent LNBs will come in handy when parasiting, since my space does not allow having many dishes.
easier said than done. Especially on c band. Talk of lnb skew differences. Polarity differences. Some sats need dielectric plate some won't work with it. Then one lnb cannot be good accross all sats. Each sat needs a customized solution.
Then there is a joy that comes with owning a dish farm that doesn't come with owning a motorized setup. Its like natural food vs genetically modified food. That is if you're infected with ASAS type A.
Awesome. Have you used V7 and if so how do you compare the sensitivity or general performance with SRT 4955?240cm, SRt 4955
I do think freesat is just as sensitive as 4955. What strong did to 4955 after complains on sensitivity issues with 4950 was to bloat the signal graduation scale such that what would read 61% on a 4950 would now read about 86% on 4955 (so people could think it's more sensitive). But still if a channel is cracking on a freesat it would still crack on a 4955 despite 4955 showing about 20% higher signal level.Awesome. Have you used V7 and if so how do you compare the sensitivity or general performance with SRT 4955?
It depends on what you're aiming at. Don't just buy any lnb because you've got an eight foot. You can be disappointed big time trust me. The reason why there are dishes larger than 8ft. Because 8ft can't give you anything with anything240 cm pack's enough signal to work with every tom, kamau and harry of the Lnb world !
Sure bro!It depends on what you're aiming at. Don't just buy any lnb because you've got an eight foot. You can be disappointed big time trust me. The reason why there are dishes larger than 8ft. Because 8ft can't give you anything with anything
BTW eight foot isn't even a BUD by Nigerian standards.
Are you getting Disneys with your 6f dish?Sure bro!
I'm glad with my 2 6ft dishes that gives me 68.5 and 76.5 to the fullest. Unless an 8ft dish give me asiasat7 I'm still satisfied with those.
