On all satellite dishes any parasite lnb beyond 18deg is rarely possible unless the beam is very strong. Unless you increase dish size by up to 50%. As you move from primary lnb signal deteriorates by upto 50% this is because you have decreased available plane for illumination.Get an 8ft. If possible two of them. 1 8ft is equivalent to 3 6fts especially if you're into parasiting.

While still there. That "hole" is denying you a lot of important signal, i would rather you run your cable by the lnb arm and fill it. As you know even 1% is a difference between enjoying and missing a channel.I admire your ingenuity and envy your setup. Can you please update us on what sats you are locking in your arc. Also being in WA have you ever tried 28E UK ?
I wonder why Africa has to import dishes while we can produce steel and paint. The science of curving a piece of metal to a specific shape how difficult is it that Africans cannot master it and mass produce? Maybe it's just that there is no ready market to justify investment.Unless we can find a way to fabricate our BUDs most big dishes will still remain a mirage.

You are right, i tried to remove it once, and i had 3-4 % decrease in signal, so i placed it back.While still there. You know Freq, as awful as it sounds. We have a big problem in Africa!
