If you are lucky enough the area has reliable coverage by ADN, PANG, Bamba ..etc, then the Bamba box makes alot of sense (Costs around KES 3600 while the ADN is about 4K ) since Ntv will be airing the world cup. My problem with the terrestrial signals however is their unreliability; One moment you are watching your favourite team and the next the signal igone only to reappear after five hours.I'm snooping around for a good FTA DVBT2 Decoder for my old lady back in the mashinani for her to watch World cup since she does not own a digital/smart LED Tv. Any leads or reviews will be highly appreciated.

What's the purpose of that tube? I want to join a C to a Ku to make my own combined C/Ku but that tube cuts across the centre possibly blocking abit of signal to the Ku. Yes that's the one in the second photo. However I didn't see any wire going from the circuit board to it. The whole lnb metal casing is earthed hence shouldn't need extra earthing wiring, hence I didn't think the tube had an electric function connected to circuitry unless its to distribute static electric charge.Acts as a negative or "ground" contact between the lnb housing and the electronics inside. "Stabiliser" great! I didn't know its name. As advised by Freq I will leave it alone. I have made a combined C/Ku before with good results. The secret is to make sure the probs in the two lnbs are aligned so that they have the same best skew angle. You will end up having less to no signal at all on either of the two. Tried that and it didn't work, but if its just for experimentation go ahead, but don't cut the stabilizer, like Freq said.
