African Satellite World and Sat Gear

Guys, blindscan your NSS12 Ku-band to get your KTN back. For some reason, the previous signal is no longer there (may have changed the SID, PID, etc). The Kenyan channels are available on both 11026H as well as 11026V.

Confirmed thanks

Yesterday I upgraded my SRT 4922 from 132p to the current 137p. I normally do not like upgrading my receivers
anyhow, but this time it was worth it. With my new Orange 4G high speed broadband modem, I experienced the feel
of the new IPTV channels. There are 96 in total and I was more interested in the HD offering. Yes it really works
well but also eats lots of Mbs in internet fuel. Watch out for some dangerous channels like FILMON1 - 6 plus some
four others that can embarrass you in front of your family. Review alone first channels that are not familiar to you
to avoid embarrassment with your family.

That's good news, my srt 4922 doesn't read orange 3g moderm but works well with sfcom. What's the trick in orange 3g modern?

I beg your indulgence bro, does it open any other scrambled channels like it did on 7e european beam. Is there improvement along those lines?

Last weekend I failed to nab the Kenyan channels on NSS 12 with a slightly out dated Delsat 777 receiver, today I was able bring them in using my darling SRT 4922. With the dish in position, I connected SRT 4652 which was able to lock onto BW TV (Bundeswehr TV) which is on the Central Asia beam (huge smile since am in R.Valley Kenya using a 90cm dish) sadly not our local channels. Lesson learnt: Something called phase-shift keying (PSK), each decoder has the ability to handle a given or multiple PSK. DVB-S / DVB-S2 receiver that can be configured
as single-channel receiver with support for
QPSK, 8-PSK, 16-APSK and 32-APSK, or as dual-
channel receiver with support for QPSK and 8-
PSK
I sincerely apologise if my deduction is wrong and misleading but I tried to get myself a believable explanation of my limitation. Please dont call me lazy, I worked hard to come up with this explanation which may be out of this world.
My apologies once more.

Hi, what dish size are you using to catch 28.5?

i have only put the lnb at the right position of 8ft dish with 60e as the prime.

I have also managed to add another lnb to pick amos 5 ku though some tp as not popping up.

There is no trick or magic at all, just simple telecoms science. All recommended parameters must
be there for 3G to work. Check with your nearest Orange service centre. Just like ordinary mobile,
no calls can be made or received no matter what make of phone you have if the network does not
cover your area.

I have not yet seen any information suggesting that there are some new keys in the said software.
The last patch that had keys (132p) had a word file included in the zip folder detailing which channels
it could open. I think the emphasis this time was on improving IPTV and internet connection.

I have updated my 4922A to the latest patch 137p however I didnt see the new 17 IPTV channels added to the previous ones. Do I have to load up the IPTV channels separately or there is something else I have to do. Those of you who have done the upgrade let me know how you went about adding the new 17 IPTV channels

Hi Kungu, how do I add paksat 1r to srt 4922, I'm interested in football.

The only channels that opens are those for 132p, 137p has improved quality and iptv.

I have full orange network in my house i even use the same moderm to browse. The problem is when inserted into srt 4922, it doesn't show 3g option, it only blinks red.this doesn't give me the option of inputting the right parameters. when i put sfcom moderm it picks right away,ie shows options of 3g, Ethernet. Does it mean that my orange moderm which is zte E1588 is not compatible or what?

I found that the new z**u decoder is able to get the Kenyan channels on nss 12 fta
