Last weekend I failed to nab the Kenyan channels on NSS 12 with a slightly out dated Delsat 777 receiver, today I was able bring them in using my darling SRT 4922. With the dish in position, I connected SRT 4652 which was able to lock onto BW TV (Bundeswehr TV) which is on the Central Asia beam (huge smile since am in R.Valley Kenya using a 90cm dish) sadly not our local channels. Lesson learnt: Something called phase-shift keying (PSK), each decoder has the ability to handle a given or multiple PSK. DVB-S / DVB-S2 receiver that can be configured
as single-channel receiver with support for
QPSK, 8-PSK, 16-APSK and 32-APSK, or as dual-
channel receiver with support for QPSK and 8-
PSK
I sincerely apologise if my deduction is wrong and misleading but I tried to get myself a believable explanation of my limitation. Please dont call me lazy, I worked hard to come up with this explanation which may be out of this world.
My apologies once more.
