Sorry I'd earlier compared 90cm and 130cm before properly reading your quiz

Now when it comes to 130cm offset vs 180cm pf, 180cm pf always wins because of its mobility, its easy to transport and has a stand (you can place it on any flat surface) unlike 130cm for which you'll have to see a welder.

their performance is the same on ku band

so 180cm wins for me. Not considering the price for which 180cm is more expensive but totally worth it.

Capitalists at B#mba already locked their channels at 70b. their satellite decoder coming soon. More competition to bb

Why do you lock a collection of local FTAs though?

Here: from the top apstar 7 (d1xniy, AXcn, D1V@), intelsat 68.5 (hbee0, s0niey, dcvrry) nss 12 57E (rat race) and yamal 402 at 55E ku band..

Looks like a bird's nest for lack of binding strips but works and since we're not in a beauty contest, its the least of my worries

I'll do that once i buy a drill and some steel strips. Tried to consult s welder but they're too expensive

After all I move the lnbs from one position to another alot and one permanent perfect alignment is not in the best of my interest

Then to find some of these channels you have to place your lnb in some wierd position. Like if you want to get all on apstar 7, you'll place lnb a little slanted to your right not in straight line with 68.5e and WITH the scalar ring on. If you do a perfect alignment which forces you to drop your ring you'll have to lose some channels..

So it's a constant struggle between beauty and functionality

Somewhere in this thread has been posted some 'robotic' arms that you can have cheaply fabricated and that allow one to align their LNB any which way.

Think I've seen them.. made of holes punched into aluminium strips. Finding aluminium of that gauge & size without buying an expensive a full length is the hard part as most fabricators deal in steel
