Wow! Some 'homework' there. Will explore that when I get promoted from Ku to C. I have predominantly been on Ku since I learnt the art of hunting......

Upgrade to C ASAP. Never knew what I missed when I was on KU alone. C Channels are of higher quality, more stable over time they don't just appear and disappear like KU channels. Also C band tends to become stronger while its raining unlike KU that degrade signal strength while raining. Cband beams also cover large swaths of land hence chances are higher that they cover your place compared to the limited ku band beam coverage

It all depends on your enthusiasm. And how serious ASAS has infected you. Am only four months old in this field and have already collected 4 dishes: 90cm, 130cm, 6ff & 8ft and like 6 lnbs. My infection began when i bought a*zm tv wanted to install it myself so I started googling around and landed here. I was surprised that some channels they were charging as "premium' were actually FTA! So i started hunting!!
 
I hate paytv this is gon force me to dig a little deeper cause im kinda asking myself why would anyone pay for this stuffs that are aired freely?

I have always desired to get C though the plot where I reside in is a single storey one with a slanting metal roof thus I have only made use of the gable onto which I nailed my 90cm.

I may use welded frame or stones to create a level placement for the C dish but I have not gained morale for that yet, I'd rather move plot.....
