Actually 2 O'clock skew while standing in front of the dish, whilst behind the dish the skew is @ 10 O'clock.

Basically the LNB F-Connector should be @ 12 O'clock mark and the di-electric plate should be placed in a Vertical position. The 35mm width is the measurement along the internal grooves of the LNB.

I have attached an LNB BelinterSAT 1 below NSS12 but the di-electric plate now measures about 60mm. Roughly 25mm inside the LNB with 35mm hanging out.

This allows both the Italian package, Challenger TV & KFS TV to pop-up with stability.

This is a manufactured dielectric plate. The homemade one is cut from a floor tile or a heavy plastic slab. Also read somewhere that glass works

Either use Rs232 to reflash software or hard re-install using flash drive

SATELLITE UPDATE: REVIVING OF ALL SRT4950'S RECEIVERS

Preferably use stock firmware to "revive" then install latest patch.

Alright Ras Kush, thanks for the information though I suspect that that Quality may not be watchable on my 4922D, maybe on the V7 Combo cause 4950Hs tuner is a bit sensitive than that of the 4922D.

When I delve into the C world I will surely request for more info on tile biscuits. Is it the ceramic tiles that you're talking of using here?

Sounds like Planned Obsolescence. An artificial life time limitation built into most modern electronics to keep you buying

That is a simple problem you will solve with that process. Strong decoders don't die easily.

The latest patches for strong 4950H,4955 and 4962I seems to have a bug. Hopefully, cros*t will release new version to counter that problem.

Photos of homemade and town made dielectric plates just get a piece of tile and trim it down to size using a pliers. You can smoothen the ends using a file or by rubbing it against a rough wall

Sir Ras Kush I've done exactly that but M&TN is still playing hard to get wonder what could be the other trick an not aware of

Try downgrading and upgrade again.My 50 h is tops with the latest patch.No issues booting and rebooting

Sp**ts 24 is not working smoothly after updating stb with the latest patch. Its not about booting issue.

Mine was rebooting in the morning but i tweaked the setup to a stable signal of Q32 on 4950h. The anomaly stopped but i will confirm after viewing for a long time.
