Because you are trying to input KU frequency when the LNB frequency on your decoder has C-band settings or vice-versa.

Tried today to get spxxt24 as a parasite lnb with 68.5 as the prime with no luck, I only managed to get signal quality of 59 tp 3800 20000 using srt 4922 1.8m offset. Is it possible on this dish size? location nairobi

Put s24 primary 68 parasite plus lnb ring you

Make S24 the prime and have 68.5 as parasite. If you get stable signal on the SQny mux on 68.5 as parasite, you will be sorted. I have such a combi. I'm in Nairobi. See the photo below:

So what is the best and most reliable fta receiver of all time, is it Freesat, 4950H, 4922, Qsat, Satcom or what???

All of them are very realiable, however SRT 4922 did not get update for powe@vu autoroll and lost the race. Qsat is not sold in electronic shops.......... make your choice!

No. Its only that i had to upgrade.

Today, I removed my Pauxis C-band/KU band combo LNB from the archives and added as 68.5 on my set-up. In addition to what I have been getting on Cband on this bird, I was able to nab the KU band channels like: Kw*se Sports ( biss locked), NBCyou Entertainment (pvu), Pr*ss TV, Eyefilm English, Noll*wood, Acess, BeeTV, BeeTV 2, etc.

Don't look at the price, account or brand name, look at the hardware specifications. Preferably if you can lay your hands on KII pro, it has 2GB Ram, Quadcore, T2, S2, 4USB, HDMI...... its excellent

Its receivable, i will check a photo. 68 as prime, below 57, above 76

Yahsat-1A @ 52.5° East, Dish facing East just above Yamal 402 @ 54.9° East.

Dish size from my location in Limuru, Kenya... 120 cm offset.
To track the satellite use frequency 11861 H SR 27500 or any frequency on Mena footprint..... FlySat Yahsat-1A @ 52.5° East

Yes brother. It's getting the whole range on this bird. What frustrated you in particular? Try to have it as prime and you will get all KU and Cband channels. I also tried it as parasite and got the SQny mux signal on the borderline (40-41%).

If you notice, the one on 68.5 on the BUD in the foreground is not connected. I set it up for experimental/research purposes only: trying 57 (prime) and 68.5 (parasite). Otherwise that BUD in the foreground is dedicated to 57. The one in the background has (from left to right): 76 (parasite), 68.5 (prime) and (very weak) 57 (parasite).

I have just noticed that there is ARIRANG HD on 3796 V 5580 on Intelsat 20 @ 68.5 deg. East.
