Start by using the relatively stronger tps like, 3769 H 13333 3685 V 3333 etc to track the bird. These at least will indicate you are on the right track and that you are not roaming the whole galaxy aimlessly with your 6ft! It's normally assuring, comforting and encouraging. You can pull a stool and sample those channels first (mostly in Gujarati or something like that) for the heck of it!
Once you have enjoyed and taken a deep breath, embark on the more daunting journey of hunting the more stubborn tps like 3920 H 28340, 3880 H 30000 and 3720 H 29620 and maximize on them. This journey, I must forewarn you is treacherous and not for the faint-hearted with a 6ft and in Nbi (where I am at). Keywords: 1. Patience, 2. Patience, 3. Patience.
I have used V7 and 4950H and the H takes the cup. It will indicate to you that you have hit a certain bird by indicating "Found XXX sat". I have found the V7 a bit slow in response to discovery of a signal.
All the best. Viva FTA
