I'm also a victim. I was a JF Expert Member and I was demoted to New Member. I don't know why they do this,

Bwana optus1 if you go to page 987 in this forum you will find the tp there. That was the time i was really really crazy with Ap* i also did manage to green it that time and from there me & Ap* parted ways no matter how i try to woo its goodies which is very often all i get is 3920 & Probably a not stable 4151 which resets my 4950H and someone told me that some tps short curciut thereby frying the box, the truth is i dont know if its true so i would rather not destroy my box i usually assume the tp is not worthwhile. QUESTION TO THE HOUSE: Is it true that some tps have short and can fry the box.

It is a software issue which can be corrected with the right firmware update. A frequency input into a decoder can never cause a short circuit or otherwise affect the hardware. It is the function of the software/firmware to check and regulate the required input and the incompatible input and give you the output accordingly. In other words it has a comparator. Your machine can be corrected only if you are patient.

That can never happen sir, your decoder might be experiencing some other issues...
