If you want to do economics, EGM is the best but If you want to take accounting then ECA is the best option. Mind you if you want to be an excellent economist, you must be very good at Math. Personally it did HGE and took BA. ECONOMICS at university. I graduated but It was very difficult for me compared to those who took EGM in high school

Having pursued BCOM, you can specialize in accounting, or finance or marketing, or general management, or procurement etc. So it all depends on the structure of that program at a particular university. E.g. the bcom offered at udsm might not be necessarily the same as that one offered by say udom. There might be some slight differences.
