ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE OFFICER - DAR ES SALAAM, TANZANIA HR World limited on behalf of our reputable client, we are looking for Accounts Receivable Officer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Follow up on, collect and allocate payments.
2. Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
3. Prepare monthly reports on accounts receivable statuses.
4. Act as a sales and marketing person where needed.
5. Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
6. Research and resolve payment discrepancies
7. Maintain accounts receivable customer files and records
8. Investigate and resolve customer queries
9. Collect feedback from customers regarding the company’s services
10. Develop a recovery system and initiate collection efforts
11. Communicate with customers via phone, email, or personally
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Accounting
• Two years experience in similar field
• Knowledge of accounts receivable
• Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures and accounting principals
• Attention to detail and accuracy
