Watanganyika wenzangu, ndio maana tunahitaji Katiba iandikwe upya! yarekebishwe makosa yote. They need us more than we need them, yet tunajikomba kwao, kwa lipi hasa?

Angalia hata nafasi za uwakilishi, kuna Mtanganyika gani ktk BLM? Nani kutoka Tanganyika kapiga kura Zanzibar ukiachilia mamluki wanaosombwa kwa umasikini wao kwenye majahazi kupelekwa kuipiga jeki CCM kwenye uchaguzi mkuu?

By no means...siungi mkono mtu, taasisi ,kampuni, chombo cha umma au serikali kukataa kulipa deni halali. Anaekopa au anaetumia huduma lazima alipe.

Nonda,

Mkuu.
You are with them or you are with us? hiyo red!

Mkuu.

Upuuzi mkubwa huu. We gonna fight for our Country.

Kwanza by definition kutamka tuvunje Muungano ni high treason.
Lakini unatuumiza Watanganyika in the most insidious way.

Upuuzi mkubwa huu. We gonna fight for our Country.

Kwanza by definition kutamka tuvunje Muungano ni high treason.

Watu wengi hatulijui hili. Kitu ambacho hutupelekea kuelekeza lawama kule ambako hazistahili.

Nonda,

PANA SIRI KUBWA HAPA!

Mkuu.
You are with them or you are with us? hiyo red!

Mkuu.

Thanks Juma.
Let us revisit the history in anecdote. Before 1990 it was mandatory for the mainlander to have passport when traveling to isles. The then G55 questioned the legality of it if at all we are the URT. G55 proposed a semi autonomy Tanganyika government to decide her own fate.
As far as Zanzibar decision to implement passport policy it aimed at securing the influx that has now been facing Zanzibar. zanzibar no longer an habitant for Zanzibaris rather than a chaotic place which witnesses what should not be expected from Zanzibaris. What doyou expect when sea floods rivers?
Understanding the social economic impact in terms of market access, employment and settlement, SMZ revoked the same in very short time to avert social economic consequences.

The question of referendum is not an important agenda to Tanganyika since we live with thousands of Zanzibarians in peace and harmony, no wonder in the villages, towns or city you will hear duka la mpemba. As of today more Zanzibarians are migrating to mainland for the business or employment. The son of revolutionist Hassan Moyo can testify it all. Recently he showed his interest to vie for the political post in Songea.

I agree with you as far as the Referendum concerns but the Zanzibaris immigrant to mainland should not not be taken as a pretext of Zanzibaris not to live without the Union. Majority of Zanzibaris are ina Zanzibaris and those who have crossed thetre they should decide or rather you will decide whether to let them (if they opt to) or to sent them back. One thing must be clear in your mind, percentage wise the Mainlanders are sor far high thse who settled in Zanzibar and Zanzibarians had accepted them in their fold. The like of Moyo whom you defined him as a Zanzibarian are so so many in Zanzibar. Dont it cross your mind that instead of choosing nearer to Zanzibar he had decided to go Songea? That my friend is where he is originated. I can name names and names who fall in that category but the most popular are Aboud Jumbe and Ali Hassan Mwinyi.
The same trend is seen in the public office etc. Ironically that is not the case for SMZ.
In that context Zanzibar is to determine if she wants union or not through referendum. It is wastage of resource to involve Tanganyika as we believe one size fits all.

Then Zanazibarians should ask themselves, why electing MPs and pay lot of money to run powerless SMZ. I think this is mea culpa. The SMZ has enacted so many laws defying the union issues but fell short to discuss matter of economical importance. Apparently every failure is associated with muungano, simply to find a reason.

Let it be that SMZ is powerless to you and should remain as far as it gives you pleasure! To Zanzibaris SMZ is everything to them because as a group of people (assuming that all administrative rendered by SMZ donot comply to be a governing institute) they neeed gorvernance above all thins. Shall I ask you can you name one Minister from Umion Government who has been dealing with the issues of Zanzibar? 9to the exceptional of police force who went to kill Pemba) Do you think Zanzibar is immune to natural disasters? Have you ever hear the President of Tanzania utter any words to the issue of disasters such as hunger, flood or draught on zanzibar? So my dear brother who take care of such events to Zanzibar? It is SMZ. I dont know when you talk about MP, did you real meam MP or Member of House of Representatives? If you mean MP as an MP Zanzibaris donot waste their money because Tanzania a,k.a Tanganyika pays for it. Whether Zanzibaris have any use of them the answer is no becauuse those who paid them have sent them as camouflage. Let 55 Zanzibaris get themselves wealth if they are careful.

Zanzibar benefit the most in power supply from mainland. FYI the power outage has never affected Zanzibar despite the fact that SMZ owes Tanesco 40+ billions Tsh. The price/unit in Znz is cheaper than in Kidatu or mtera.
My dear brother this union has the age of somebody who could be grandparent and you have single just one thing that Zanzibar benefits at the risk of so many setbacks caused by the union. At least you should mention something that is given free but to mention elecricity that is paid for? So what if Zanzibar owes Tanesco 40 billion? First that is bussiness and it is not Zanzibar as the sole cusstomer who owes Tanesco. Earlier you mentioned SMZ as a powerless assuming that SMT is powerfull then why backtrecking now and want SMZ to pay the dept of Union Government?. Price wise I think there must be contract in this bussiness, what does it say on the whole bussiness? After all Tanesco itself explain that it is a Tanzania institute and Tanzania includes Zanzibar which nuliffy the saying that Zanzibar benefits elecricity but rather uses its right.

The SMZ could tell us more about this because she has defined the boundaries of Zanzibar in the amended constitution.

The issue of oil is the centre for secession concept. This move was not there when Salimini Amour used to collect civil servants salaries from the central government coffer. One thing Zanzibarians may not be well informed is that, Nigeria, is a member of OPEC, still remains in the category of poor nation. Oil is not the only solution to ZNZ’s problem.
First I think it is better to clarify the claima that Salmini used to to collect civil servant salaries from Central government coffer. As far as this issue concern what would you advised to be done when collection of revenue at Zanzibar harbour was started at 10 in the morning after the collector comes from Dar Es salaam to collect the revenue (and at that time all containers docked at Zanzibar Port) only to haul the revenue to Dare salaam by 4 oclock sea express? After the shouts and after fixing the docking in Zanzibar now the collection is done and saved in Zanzibar. At least its share now need not to be excrected from Dar es salaam.
On the issue of timing of oilclaim concern I think during Salmin Zanzibaris were still in the dark, set to figght each other in order to forget such issue as the oil. I think now it is not only oil but even the status of Zanzibar has been talked about. It was only matter of timing.

So what you want us to believe is that the Union has stopped Pemba to implement agriculture programs?
I think you should look at KILIMO KWANZA to udestand that agriculture is not an easy thing as you believe. Looka at government innitiatives from its to sponsers' to know how Union affects agricucture in Pemba.

You should remember that when half of the Znz population living in Bara is back to pemba, the arable land will not be enough for the hypothetical agriculture plan. I wonder if you are aware that more than 500,000 Zanzibarians resides in mainland.
Neither the staying of those 500,000 Zanzibaris to mainland will make the land enough when those %00,00 are replaced by those settlers fro Mainland.

In a long run ZNZ will not have enough land as population keeps growing everyday.

Uh! if that was not the case the SMZ would have not be there with all power to draft, amend and revoke laws. Don’t you see some similarities?

Tanzania mainland is not tired of union rather vexed on unfounded allegations by Zanzibarian. The mainlanders have sacrificed a lot in the union just to be reciprocated by insult, abuse etc. This has provoked a wave of protest to average ‘Joe’ as well.
Well you should be vexed but I think you relish all what you called unfounded allegations as it gives you sense of being burly to at least small size of populatio or you should ratify thoe you call the unfounded allegations. You sacrisfice yourself from verbal abuse while Zanzibaris are getting physical abuse from your arrogance.

Our relationship is based on the history rather than colonial boundaries. Whether the union is perfect or not we should find a way to solve the problem. There is a window of opportunity open now. Let us stand together to defeat the proposed draft to be tabled soon in order to get a chance to decide if the union remains viable or immaterial,so that we part amicably.
Secondly, Since we know that Zanzibarians are not complacent with union, another simple way is to go back home, in that way the union will automatically die. No MPs in Dodoma, no Ministers, and all civil servants resign.
Well, may be Historical facts are what haunts our Union. One side progress in the past plays big role on our thinking at present. One thinks that the other should not at any cost return to the past posreities and the other thinks how he was before and seeing how the other prevent him from backcoming hurts him.

I agree that social life should be given a chance to thrive, but businesses and trade must be revised to suit the interest of each nation. I guess this will be a point ZNZ will realize the missed opportunity at the cost of few politicians and tycoons who would like to see the union collapse.
zanzibaris have the capacity to know what is good and what is hinderance to them and if one mean is a failure one tends to find the alternative and that is what Zanzibaris do.

I also agree that both side must have dictum to look the issue in wider prism.

I doubt if ones complains are called unfouded allegations and when it happens that this assumption is from one who has everything concerning development.

Mwl.

Maendeleo hapa itakuwa hakuna wabara wengi wenye uwezo watakosa uongozi kisa muungano!
