The shear number of traffic lights on morogoro road gives chills, from ubungo mataa(ubungo maji) to morogoro/ali hassan road junction at DIT a distance of 8kilometers there is 14 traffic lights stops! Thats an average of a traffic stop every 600 meters! Perfect recipie for foleni. For good value for money, Overpass and underpasses were so necessary in this project. Instead of spending billions on stop stations with some less than 50 meters from each other, it would have been better spent solving the snurl up the project was aimed to address in the fist place

i know what a trafic light does, but unless it uses some sofisticated sensors to tell when a brt bus is coming then there is no way there is preference to the busses, otherwise its the normal clock work time division.
Brt is meant to discourage non essential personal vehicles not stopping other vehicles all together. My point is, one minute spent at each of the 14 traffic stops over a 8km stretch is a minute too long when its clear an under/overpass would have saved time given that money for that was available we just spent it to build huge stylish stops at the expence of a smoother flowing system

hata kama wasingechomeka, basi nafasi ingeachwa kwajili ya huu mradi wa BRT since pembezoni mwa barabara zote mbili nafasi bado ipo. ni matumizi mabaya ya hela za walipa kodi na ujinga usio na kipimo kujenga barabara alafu kuibomoa baada ya miaka michache ili kujenga mradi mwingine.

hata kama wasingechomeka, basi nafasi ingeachwa kwajili ya huu mradi wa BRT since pembezoni mwa barabara zote mbili nafasi bado ipo. ni matumizi mabaya ya hela za walipa kodi na ujinga usio na kipimo kujenga barabara alafu kuibomoa baada ya miaka michache ili kujenga mradi mwingine.
