Why Magufuli has a shot on wooing Uganda to join his SGR

I see them building, that's what I heard geza say.
10 years later, the SGR same color as the Bagamoyo elephant.
No any kenya's give you a like to your comment you no way?? Wenzako wamekili Tanzania ya sasa siyo ile ya 1990

There are alot of speculations in your statements, it's like you are trying to predict the wheather without using any tools.

First, One of conditions set by Ug to connect with Kenya was that Kenyan route to be electrified by the time the sgr reaches kampala which Kenya already agreed to.

Second. Even if Uganda was to abandon Chinies loan, however they find the funds they can still connect with Kenya since the technology is standard gauge, bcoze among other reasons Kampala is much closer to Malaba than Kigali,
3. Uganda naturally trades more with Kenya than Tz,

4. There is a $1 billion road project funded by world Bank to connect Kenya with Juba so don't worry too much about s.sudan priorities
Msipo mjibu museveni kwanini mmekataa mafuta yenu kupitia Uganda hadi tz mjue lazima atakukomesheni hayo tote yatakua ndoto

how can Kenya dare to compete with such a giant economy?
You truly are dreaming, Tanzania GDP is $61 billion, Kenya GDP is $99.426 billion ie. Our economy is bigger than Tanzania, Uganda,Burundi and south sudan combined. That is an almost $40 billion gap between you and us (so much about tanzania catching up with kenya), and it is getting wider year. We have also opened a $10 billion gap with ethiopia (so much for ethiopia overtaking kenya). Very soon kenya will have a larger GDP than all east african countrie combined. You guys are all talk and no substance.

The way you struggle to fund your projects show how much crows you're eating, the so called bigger economy.

It is only a stupid person who can argue the way you do, and is only a fool who can understand and trust your point.
1) Your argument based on the figure from IMF which says Kenya GDP is $90B, but the same IMF says Kenyan Shilling has been overvalued by 17.5%, why don't you consider the effect of this 17.5% on your GDP, or you don't know how it affects your GDP?

Wow just Wow, How can you be so ignorant and still be alive, our currency value has nothing to do with total amount of goods and services we produce. For a person who is quick to call others stupid, you sure are showing a good effort to display your economic stupidity in this forum. Currency value has nothing to do with GDP, GDP is the total amount of goods and services combined with government investment that a country produces yearly not currency value. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Lol these intellectually challenged Tanzanians, even with all the minerals you are still an ignorant back water economy. Okay let me educate you now if they never taught you this in school. Currency value is driven by exports, imports and cash reserves. Kenya does not face a high dollar demand that can put stress on our reserves hence the high value of the shilling. GDP is the total value of all goods and services produced by a country i.e Kenya produces goods and services that are $40 billion more than Tanzania. By extension it is also a measure of how productive an economy is. I am telling you this so that you do not expose your illiteracy to the world as your professionals and gaovernment has done. Due to this arrogance and ignorance, Tanzania does not have a single intellectual of note on the world stage.And correction Kenya's GDP is not $90B, it is $99.426B. Facts don't care about your feelings my intellectually challenged neighbor.

si 90 billion, 99 billion.

They did overtake us for about 2 years but it was a $1Billion difference, i think kenya has learnt that is why ethiopia is now at $89B while kenya is at $99.426B. Also we take our accounts at different times, so when ethiopia release their economic figures I am sure they will have narrowed this gap. Only Tanzania is unable to compete since the gap has been widening for the past few years which really puts into doubt their 7% growth rate, the gap should not be this big or widening this much if they truly were growing at this rate.

GDP = Goods(G) + Services(s)

GDP=G + S

If you increase the price of Goods and Services, automatically, GDP increase, and vice versa.

GDP= increases when
1) Goods, or services or both increase (Real GDP)
2) The prices of Goods and Services increase with no increase of Goods and Services (Fake GDP like Kenya). This makes goods manufactured in the country to be unnecessarily expensive compared to nearby countries.

If the strength of the country is not fake, it doesn't increase the prices of Goods and Services produced in the country. Wewe jiulize kwanini chupa ya bia Kenya inauzwa Mara mbili zaidi ya chupa ya bia inayotengenezwa Tanzania?

Soma hii article kwa uzuri sana, shuka chini kuna "Sub section inasomeka ," How GDP affects exchange rate of the currency?" Wameeleza vizuri sana

You continue to expose your stupidity here. In 2014, Kenya's GDP wasa $61.5B, in 2018 it is $99B, with an average of 5.6% growth rate, how is it possible to add $37.1B in five years period?, which calculation do you use to get your GDP?, stop your stupidity.

Dude a currency can be strong or weak irrespective of GDP eg. China has the second highest GDP but it's currency is under performing in the world.

Take that up with the IMF and World bank who gave their 2019 value of kenya's GDP

Si niliona mahali figures za Tanzania ziliwekwa @4.3% per year

Is the same IMF which says that in 2017 Kenya overvalued its Kshs by 17.5%, that means goods and Services produced in Kenya were more expensive by 17.5%, likewise GDP was inflated by 17.5% that year.
Ata ukitumia hio logic badp Kenya's gdp is bigger then Kenya, by almost 20 billion, but mimi najua GDP ni 99 billion, acha perepere mingi
