The way Gbagbo is forcing to rule the country without the desire of the voters shows how leaders in Africa are power mongers causing disasters in many African states. How do they feel when many people are killed due to the violence, forced to migrate from their homes, their properties being destroyed ect? Is it fair?

Africa remains poor, in my view, largely for political reasons; their leaders have a history of stealing the national future. Power has often been the result of simply having the most guns, for a time, and then stealing the money to pay the thugs who intimidate the populace in order to stay in power. And this has become order of the day in Africa!
