What will I gain if accomplished?: An enemy destroying the nation

Obvious you should be asking yourself what does the writer intend to say/mean? if not then you should be asking yourself what does the writer intend to mean? To get the answer of these two questions, here follows the other question which makes the beginning of this writing.
“How do I benefit from what?” it is the kind of first question our leaders ask themselves when attempting their daily activities especially the ones concerning money.
You might have heard of “Dowans” and its mission to turn TANESCO into bankruptcy, and also you might have heard of SONGAS and IPTL the two companies that TANESCO used to pay the sum of 566 million a day as the capacity charge.
Do you recall of “Richmond Development Company”? the Company which had the mission of turning the nation into dark and ended up retiring the Prime minister of that stint due to fake contract made by the government towards the entire company.
What about EPA? such all huge amount of money of the poor Tanzanians stolen! and those involved were only requested to return the money without to be sentenced of any punishment, as to this stint some of the money is not yet returned regardless that those involved are known because obvious there should be records.
“Hivi” when you catch the criminal do you ask him to return only your property? or such criminal should be brought before the court of law and be punished according to the law? it was different with those EPA involved individuals only those “touchable” were brought before the court of law and the “un-touchable” ones were asked to bring back the money and live in peace how shameful!.
Recall of the leaders who bribed TANESCO and forced the company to shoot the bill towards its customers regardless of the hardness of life Tanzanians do face, no wonder, some were members of the parliament.
Imagine of the evil activities going on “natural resources” sector including tourism sector, mines sector and the inclusive sectors. Its just like a comedy; today someone is caught exporting a certain type of animal, the day after the other is caught in preparation to export lizards, if not that then the other worse incident occurs as if there is no chief executive on that sector.
Kagoda no one can bear that, what a company, used almost 40 billion of EPA and yet un-touchable. What about the “Radar” a shameful kind of business made by the government executive officials and turned the country into worse image before the universe.
Such recalled hot events did take place in our nation in few days ago, and the writer has looked back to them intentionally so as to make his point of start.
How un-fortunate, Tanzanians trusted the ruling leaders hence handled the power to them so as to rule the country ethically, to take control of the nations resources, expecting that such individuals (ruling readers) would care of the majority interest and their interests after. But things have become the opposite, the trusted individuals to rule the nation have changed from better to worse, have become selfish, biased, just dealing with their personal interests while the Citizens interests have left hanging. The nation has turned into neo-colonialism while the rulling class using the benefits of the majority to accomplish their personal desires.
Tanzanians have become slaves in their own nation. Youths are loitering from here and there without employment hence ending up in immoral activities involvement, regardless that some have qualifications for being employed in specific sectors of the nation but yet no opportunity for employment opened up for them, when this group of citizens is suffering the ruling class “wanakula kuku kwa mrija”(eat chicken in a tube). Aged individuals are dieing because of lacking medical services, women die due to farness of the hospitals from home.
The number of bandits is increasing daily due to lack of employment, while some of youth group end up using drugs which leads to threatening their health and some our beloved sisters end up in prostitution involvement. When that situation is taking place, the kind of education offered does not tar with the current employment industry, teachers are crying of their debts and minimal salary they are getting. Every citizen is crying on his own while the superior class is enjoying the benefits of the majority.
Its when the writer recalls one of the prominent politician of this nation once said “Even if I would be competing with my son, I would use any technique to win him over, reasonably every one would be fighting for his own stomach”; such statement was given as being asked by the journalist during the general election of 2010.
It was hard to know what this politician meant from the start but now such statement makes since in the writers mind and obvious to all of individuals. Such statement aimed to indicate what is happening recently in our nation; every leader is using the opportunity he has to fulfill his/her desire which obvious is the personal interests when comes to that situation Tanzanians are not contemplated any longer.
Per individual perspective, this is the stint for our leaders to change from worse to best. Give the kind of life Tanzanians have had dreamed of in contemplation of the dreams of the nation founder`s Late Mwalimu Nyerere.
This is the time for selfish and bias kind of leaders to step aside and let the ones with the majority interests’ take-over power. If there is anyone in this nation who still thinks that Tanzania is a rich country with plenty of resources and is ready to share such richness with all citizens, let us unit together and recall some of the aims of the Arusha Declaration as says
“ that all citizens collectively own the natural wealth of this nation as being responsible for their generations”;
“that is the role of government in which the people themselves to intervene in practical life the economy of the nation in order to ensure the welfare of the nation, in order to ensure the welfare of all citizens and keep the person kumnyonya person or one group kukinyonya other groups to prevent accumulation of wealth to the extent to which not available and the politics of all the same”.
The alike words are found/adapted in Article 9 (c) and (d) of the constitution of the united Republic of Tanzania of 1977 as amended in 2008.
If there is still any leader who thinks that Tanzania is very rich and has lots of resources, let us unite together and build our nation without selfishness or individualism contemplation but the majority interests.
With 51 years of the independence a nation is still not stable in any sector, how worse? and where is the country heading to?
But its not because the nation is poor but because some of the leaders are benefiting themselves form majority`s benefits.
Once Mr. Mpoto said “Fukuza wote, kuanza upya si ujinga”(expell to begin a new is not ignorance). This is what should be done in our nation, to expel all un-ethical leaders and begin afresh, that's not ignorance but rescuing the situation that a nation is in to recently.
With 51 years, the nation`s infrastructures are still weak, electricity does not serve in any way,, natural resources have remained the benefits of certain group of individuals while majority are dying of hunger. Education sector is going in to worst. Nothing is stable, everything is hanging including the lives of the Tanzanians.
Dear lord change our leaders, rescue our nation.
