Job Description | |||||
Job Purpose: To oversee and manage a pool of 17 vehicles and 30 drivers supplied to a client in Dar es Salaam, in order to ensure an efficient, safe and high quality level of service. Duties: · Organise driver shift rosters and reliefs · Schedule and monitor vehicle servicing · Maintain equipment inventories (such as vehicle 1[SUP]st[/SUP] Aid kits, triangles, fire extinguishers) · Production and analysis of In Vehicle Management System (IVMS) reports · Monitor and improve Health & Safety at work where applicable · Monitoring fuel consumption Skills/Qualifications/Experience: · 2 years experience in successfully managing a pool of vehicles and drivers. · Knowledge of vehicle maintenance management and scheduling. · Demonstrate experience in and ability to manage a pool of over 20 drivers · Fluent in English and Kiswahili, both oral and written Personal characteristics required: · Honest, diligent, loyal with a sense of pride in maintaining professional standards · Must enjoy working in a small dynamic and quickly developing Company · Good team player prepared to help out wherever and whenever required · Confident with a calm manner and able to make good clear decisions under pressure | |||||
