Urgent: We need Swahili to English translators

DAMAX solutions is working on a SMALL reproductive and Child health project assessment.

we conducted Indepth Interviews (IDI) and Focus Group Discussions (FGD). They are already transcribed verbatim. the remuneration pay is as follows:

• We pay 50,000/= for one IDI translated (each document is about about 13-25 pages)
• We pay 60,000/= for one FGD translated (each document is about about 30 pages)

Qualification: minimum degree with good experience in translation from Swahili to English. Should have good written English. Knowledge and experience of working on health and reproductive health is added advantage

I normally charge 0.07USD/per source word (minimum). Minimum fee 25USD, and 25USD(minimum) hourly rate. Kwa wabongo huwa naanzia sh.100/neno na 25000/ukurasa. Hawa jamaa hawalijui soko vizuri. Hizo bei mi sijazielewa

Translation quotation doesn't look that way, translators are normally quote either per word or per page but not per number of pages. You should consider this in the next project if you really need serious and qualified linguist.
