Uganda detains 200 Foreign Nationals Over Undocumented Businesses & Visas

Authorities have arrested more than 200 foreign nationals in a crackdown targeting illegal immigrants and undocumented business operators across Uganda, according to Ministry of Internal Affairs spokesperson Simon Peter Mundeyi.

Among those detained were dozens of men and women found in a Bukoto apartment complex without valid immigration
documents, as investigations into illegal work permits, visa violations, and unlawful business activities continue.
