Today - 9th, October, Uganda Celebrates Her 64th Independence Day event at State House Entebbe.

The country marks independence from Britain on October 9, 1962; this year's scaled-down virtual celebrations follow a Cabinet directive to repurpose funds, with only limited VVIPs and religious leaders attending in person.
