Job Title : Accountant (District)
Salary Scale : U4
Reports to : Senior Accountant
Responsible for : Senior Accounts Assistant
Job Purpose
To provide financial services to the District Council within the approved budget in line with the Financial
Regulations.
Key outputs
i. All expenditure at the District certified;
ii. Annual and monthly financial statement of accounts prepared;
iii. Monthly cash flow statement prepared;
iv. Bank statements reconciled with cash books to iron out discrepancies;
Salary Scale: CUG1

Location: UCU Main Campus (Mukono)

Reports to: Estates Supervisor

Department: Facilities & Capital Projects

Main duties and Responsibilities:

Trim lawn either by hand or using a riding lawnmower.
Cut down tree branches, etc. that are overgrown or posing a danger.
Prepare and clean function sites.
Carry tables and chairs to and from function sites and around the campus
Collect, rake and burn rubbish.
Carry out gardening duties around the campus.
Trim natural fences and hedges.
Any other official duties assigned by the supervisor.
