Reporting to Head of Human Resources Procurement and Administration

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•Develop human resources policies and strategies and oversee their implementations.
•Develop, implement and evaluate employee performance management system.
•Provide leadership on employee recruitment, placement, grievances, discipline and welfare matters
•Serve as secretariat to the Appointment and Disciplinary Committee meetings.
•Implementation of manpower policies and plans as approved by higher authorities.
•To maintain staff personal confidential files and up to date personnel records.
•To liaise with the trade union and labour office on matters concerning industrial relations.
•To recommend, interpret and administer staff rules and regulations and recommend staff fringe benefits based on systematic performance based evaluation.
•To ensure implementation of the departmental annual plans according the strategic plans.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•Holder of a Master Degree in Human Resources Management, Public Administration or related field.
•Holder of Postgraduate Diploma in Law, Mediation and Arbitration shall be an added advantage.
•Ability to interpret current labour laws.
•Working experience of not less than five (5) years in a similar post.
•Knowledge of banking shall be an added advantage
•Age limit; 45 years

So mkuu to me sioni ubaguzi wowote, ila tu kigezo hicho hakipo clear sana!

Kwa hiyo kuanzia miaka 46 hutakiwi kubadilisha ajira?? Ingekuwa ni junior post ningekuelewa lakini hii ni very senior post ambayo inahitaji mtu mwenye uzoefu. Mbona akina Balalli wameajiliwa mpaka wakafia kazini. Akina Idrisa bado wanapeta tu na umri umepita!!!!!!
 
..Kwa hiyo kuanzia miaka 46 hutakiwi kubadilisha ajira?? ...

Kwa hiyo vijana wanaograduate hivi karibuni hawatakiwi kupata ajira kwa mara yao ya kwanza? Si afadhali wewe unayo ajira tayari na uzoefu. Kama suala ni kubadili ajira, unaweza ukafungua enterprise fulani ili nafasi utakayoiacha wazi hapo ulipo ichukuliwe na fresh graduate mwingine, at the same time utengeneze ajira nyingine kupitia enterprise yako.

Ipo clear, AGE LIMIT maana yake usizidi hiyo limit. hivyo ni 45 kwenda chini. Hii ni nzuri tu haina tabu.
 
Ubaguzi upo katika mabenki mengi sasa hivi siyo benki ya poste tu.
BOT wanapaswa kuangalia sana kitendo hicho. Baadaye itakuwa na madhara kwa utendaji wa mabenki, fedha za wateja zitadhurika sana.

Next Level and BM21 i think Mr Zero is quite right in his assertations kwamba kuna ubaguzi hapo benki. I also think alitaka kusema kuwa huo ubaguzi ni wa umri in which it is quite correctly. In any society inatakiwa kuwe na equal chances za wananchi kufanikiwa na hii ya 45 years ina hinder that development.
Wenzetu wa USA wanalo hili swala liko chini ya Title VII Act na Age Dicrimination Act iko ndani yake tangu 1967. Hii ni muhimu kwa nchi yetu kuwa na utetezi kwa ubaguzi huu (kama haupo) haswa ukizingatia kuwa huma resources comes in all sizes and shapes. natetea hili nikiwa sijafikia kabisa huo umri wa 45 bali kwa kuwa katika nchi yoyote lazima kuwe na groups ambazo zitakua na mteteizi (serikali) sababu in any other time hawatakua na mtetezi. Mfano wa haya ma group ni kinana mama (UWT, WAMA nk), wazee, wenye mimba nk.
Je katiba/bunge/sheria zinasema nini kuhusu hili? Wenzutu wana EEOC-Equal Employment Opportunity Commision, ambacho ndicho chombo responsible kusimamia utekelwezaji wa hio Discrimination ya makazini..kama hii ya umri.

Cha kujiuliza ni je is it legal, or ethical (Next Level, BM21) to discriminate against age? Na pia if just because it not illegal (by law) kupanga huo umri, je is it ethical? (kwi kwi ingawa sijui kama viongozi wetu wanajua ethics maana ufisadi usingalikuwapo lest ethics was known)If so basi hakuna ubaya ku discriminate kwa wanawake, kwa kunyima kazi kinamama sababu wana mimba, kunyima kwa sababu yule ni mchaga ama sababu ni mgogo kama mimi!! :)
 
Mada zingine muwe mnaangalia.Unataka waajiri above 45 halafu wakae nae muda gani? Tuziache bank zetu ziendeshwe kibiashara,zinahitaji kupata watu energetic and young more than that.
