2. CHIEF OF HUMAIN RESOURCES - One (1) Post
Reporting to Head of Human Resources Procurement and Administration
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop human resources policies and strategies and oversee their implementations.
Develop, implement and evaluate employee performance management system.
Provide leadership on employee recruitment, placement, grievances, discipline and welfare matters
Serve as secretariat to the Appointment and Disciplinary Committee meetings.
Implementation of manpower policies and plans as approved by higher authorities.
To maintain staff personal confidential files and up to date personnel records.
To liaise with the trade union and labour office on matters concerning industrial relations.
To recommend, interpret and administer staff rules and regulations and recommend staff fringe benefits based on systematic performance based evaluation.
To ensure implementation of the departmental annual plans according the strategic plans.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Holder of a Master Degree in Human Resources Management, Public Administration or related field.
Holder of Postgraduate Diploma in Law, Mediation and Arbitration shall be an added advantage.
Ability to interpret current labour laws.
Working experience of not less than five (5) years in a similar post.
Knowledge of banking shall be an added advantage
Age limit; 45 years
