Tooro King Edward Rukidi Nyabongo Completes First Traditional Rituals

The newly enthroned Omukama of Tooro, King Edward Rukidi Nyabongo I, has completed his first traditional rituals at the royal burial ground, marking another step in the installation of the monarch following the burial of King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV.

King Edward was accompanied to the royal burial ground by Omusuuga Kamurasi, senior Babiito elders and members of the royal family for the rituals, which form part of the traditional ceremonies surrounding the new monarch.
