The UK Government are planning a call today with the president of UEFA about the Super League crisis.
 
Super League clubs believe it is illegal for FIFA to ban their players from playing in international tournaments.

They have already filed petitions in several courts to prove it.
 
Wenger in 2009: ‘Maybe in 10 years, you will have a European league…the money that will be coming in from the Champions League will not be enough for some clubs’
 
UEFA Executive Committee meeting scheduled for today in Montreux.

UEFA, FIFA, PL, Liga, Serie A on the same position: Super League has been disapproved. No UCL, no domestic leagues for the 12 clubs.

Super League clubs insist they want to play in the domestic leagues too.

Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool are set to LEAVE the European Super League after Manchester City.

The process to withdraw has just begun. Work in progress with legal team for the English clubs.
 
If a few Super League clubs leave but the others remain, the ones who left will have to pay a HEAVY fine to the ones who stay.
 
Florentino Perez is still in the Super League meeting tonight to decide about the future of the league. The English clubs are key to decide what's gonna happen - after Man City official statement to leave the competition.
 
Manchester City is the ONLY club to leave the Super League. Everyone else is still committed, although Chelsea are having some doubts about the project.

-FC Barcelona.
-Atletico Madrid.
-Juventus FC.
-Inter Milan.
-AC Milan.
 
The Super League expected a war against UEFA and FIFA, but they didn't expect the extreme reactions from fans, players, politicians and celebrities.
