The Tax Senior will report to, and work with, the Tax Manager in tax assignments from planning, execution and reporting. Other duties will include:
• Working closely with the' Audit Teams in finalizing tax computations for clients
• Ensuring clients tax matters are managed effectively and efficiently
• Compliance to Internal Quality Control Policy and Standards
• Supervising junior Tax staff
Qualifications
• Minimum bachelor degree in accounting or holders of advanced diploma in taxation.
• Postgraduate tax qualification will be an added advantage
• Holder of CPA(T) , ACCA, or any other recognized qualification.
• Thorough knowledge of local tax legislations and other regional and international tax frameworks
• At least 3 years working experience in a reputable audiVtax firm

CASHIER (20 POSITIONS) – BACLAYS BANK (T) LTD

BUSINESS LINE: OPERATIONS
Job purpose:
To provide a counter service. to Bank customers and other members of the public and administration support within the outlet
Responsibilities:
• Cashing of cheques travellers cheques and withdrawals
• Process both cash and cheque deposits/credits
• Purchase and sale of foreign currencies
• Answer general customer enquiries at cash counter
• Balance cash in own till and assist other tellers for balancing in case of need
• Groom vouchers for onward processing at the central processing unit or back-office
• Limited cross-selling of bank products and services
• Provide referral services to the customers on bank products
• Undertake cashier & enquiries duties as required in order to provide excellent customer service at the counter as a backup only
• On occasion own and manage customer queries and complaints by taking ownership and resolving in a timely manner
• May record details of cash and cheques paid in other Bank credits and charge counter fee
• Provide administration support within the outlet
• May be required to assume as co custodian
• May be required to assist in the training of new cashiers
Minimum qualification required
Graduate Level with a minimum of lower second class, a minimum score of C in both English and Mathematics (however skills/experience may be considered as a substitute) and division two in both A and A level

IT INFASTRUCTURE MANAGER –

BUSINESS LINE: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Job purpose:
Reporting to the Country Head of IT, the jobholder is responsible for development and day to day running of the IT infrastructure Support team. He/she is responsible for the efficient delivery of crucial business as usual' services

Responsibilities:
• To ensure all current IT infrastructure components are operating effectively, thereby providing the highest level of system availability and performance of infrastructure components that include; Operating systems, satellite/data communications equipment and networks through measurement and proactive initiatives
• To ensure that infrastructure faults are resolved within the prescribed SLA times
• To ensure skills required to support existing and new infrastructure within the Bank _ are developed and maintained
• To ensure all IT infrastructure security and regulatory procedures are adhered to
• To ensure relevant technical and operational documentation is distributed accordingly
• Evaluate equipment requirements and proposals for supply, implementation and development of new or existing infrastructure
• Keep updated with the latest trends in IT and IS developments
• Ensure that Incident Reports are raised as and when incident do occur
• Ensure that Service Exception reports are raised and fully completed and forwarded to Service and Change Manager for circulation
• Provide local lTSM with uptime reports for all services under IT control
• Ensure that all risk and audit findings are dealt with speedily and that recurrences are reported
• Prepare and monitor ITSM Capital expenditure and revenue budgets for infrastructure support
Qualifications:
At least a Bachelor degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering or Related field
Knowledge and expertise:
• Broad knowledge of IT Service Management and Control Techniques (ITIL - Service Management preferred)
• Good understanding of IT Strategic Business Alignment
• Knowledge of third party relationship management
• Knowledge of Operating Systems and Satellite Communications/Data communications
•An understanding of other data communication and document processing technologies and systems and their integration with Computer Systems

Experience:
• At least 5 years working in IT Infrastructure Management
• Experience of managing client and supplier relationship

Job Purpose:
Implement Sourcing strategies which leverage global/regional scale and drive excellence at country level

Responsibilities:
