Former Miss Uganda 2013, Stellah Nantumbwe, has publicly responded to allegations made by Col. Edith Nakalema regarding property reportedly taken from the home of her ex-husband, Saidi Bukenya.

The controversy arose after Col. Edith Nakalema, the head of the State House Investors Protection Unit, alleged that Nantumbwe and her mother removed household property from Bukenya's residence following the couple's separation. According to Nakalema, members of Bukenya's family informed her that he had been distressed and repeatedly complained about missing items from the home.

In response, Nantumbwe released a video on social media in which she walks through the house, showing what she says are most of Bukenya's belongings still intact and untouched. She maintains that she did not take any of her former husband's property and insists that the only major asset she left with was her personal vehicle.

Nantumbwe says the video was intended to counter what she describes as misleading allegations and to provide evidence supporting her version of events. The former beauty queen has denied any wrongdoing and challenged claims that she emptied the house before leaving.

According to the sources, one point of contention in the dispute involves a Lexus vehicle owned by Nantumbwe, which Bukenya had reportedly been using during their relationship. When the relationship ended, she is said to have reclaimed the vehicle, a move that she allegedly believes contributed to the fallout between the two.

Sources further claim that the couple had been living in a relatively small apartment and that plans to relocate to a larger home never materialized despite repeated promises. The situation reportedly became a source of frustration, eventually leading Nantumbwe to end the relationship and move out.

Neither Nantumbwe nor Bukenya had publicly commented on the latest claims at the time of publication. As the differing accounts continue to emerge, the circumstances surrounding the separation remain a subject of public interest.
