The pitch was like a battle ground where numerous wreck less playing went unpunished. We witnessed all kind of martial arts techniques like dangerous tackling, kick boxing, jiu jitsu, wrestling, punching just to mention few that went unnoticed by the referee.
In my opinion the ref from my home town screwed up what was supposed to be a good game and he should never be allowed to officiate any soccer game from now on due his lack of experience.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not discrediting the goal itself which was pure and clean, but we deserved a better game. I know the are blames going around about how Simba Golie missed the play, but that is a story for another day.
My worry is some teams my take a play book from the Afandes and that will set a very bad precedent on how to play a big club like Simba and who knows next time it could be Yanga.
We welcome fair play in our soccer games for the fans to enjoy and most crucially, for the safety of our players.
