AD,airtraffic control (tower) will never ask if you have enough fuel . is not there job.
AD,
I dont know what u r talkin about!
The Tower must ask the endurance by an aircraft, in terms of hours, so as to compare with the distance of the route requested, prior to approval of the taxiing out!
Or u mean the tower should freely sign death-certificates...huh!
tower (air traffic control ) don't sign death certificates or ask if you have enough fuel "IS NOT THERE JOB"
the main job of air traffic controller is to separate aircraft in an "CONTROL" airspace only..
Your endurance is noted on your flight plan and so the information is available to them. In an emergency they may confirm that you have enough fuel on board; ie if you have been losing fuel or have adjusted the consumption to increase your endurance. However, just entering controlled airspace under VFR or normal conditions does not require that ATC unit to check or confirm the amount of fuel or endurance that an aircraft has. This is always the Captains (pilot in command) responsibility.
By the way AD,Tower:Have you got enough fuel or not?
Pilot: Yes.
Tower: Yes what??
Pilot: Yes, SIR!
